Guard Your Hearts! (Prov. 4:23)

We are MANDATED to guard our hearts, for out of it comes the issues, com­plex­i­ties, OR, the mir­a­cles and BLESSINGS of life. Proverbs 4:23

When we guard our hearts from the wrong peo­ple and sit­u­a­tions, we can save our­selves years of stress, strain, and strife… heartache and pain… you name it.

When it comes to dat­ing, if you’re any­thing like me, you’ve been with at least one guy that you knew wasn’t for you, but you stayed anyway.

Mat­ter of fact, in the begin­ning, you got the sig­nals that he wasn’t the right guy, con­sid­ered leav­ing, but didn’t want to be alone, so you stayed.

Big Mis­take.

Because even­tu­ally, you catch feel­ings, you get used to the inti­macy and com­pan­ion­ship, and then never in a mil­lion years, would you con­sider leav­ing….

In my case, thank God, I even­tu­ally broke free.

But some don’t. Some stay for years and years — pos­si­bly marry — and stay a slave to some­thing that rot­ted and died a long time ago. I hope that isn’t you.

If it is, you can start your deliv­er­ance with Bib­li­cal Prayer, mak­ing some dec­la­ra­tions and decrees, and sub­mit­ting a Prayer Request.

If we heed to Prov. 4:23 and guard our hearts from ill-fitting peo­ple and sit­u­a­tions from the get-go, we leave our life clear and open for the Lord to work his per­fect plan and will for our lives .

 Any yokes will be easy, any bur­dens light! Matthew 11:30

Think Like A Woman!

Well, it appears WOMEN are going to FLOCK to the WRONG BOOK this Summer.

With the lat­est BLOCKBUSTER release of, Think Like a Man, the screen adap­ta­tion of Steve Harvey’s book, Act Like a Lady Think Like a Man, women will be RUSHING to book­stores to FIND OUT more about Steve’s advice on HOW to get a MAN to respect, love, and marry you.

Why will women FLOCK overzeal­ously? Because at the END of the MOVIE, all the PRETTY, like­able FEMALE char­ac­ters were able to do it. Mean­ing, it is your clas­si­cal Hol­ly­wood Chick flick.

I’m not going to lie, I saw the movie. And I enjoyed it. I had some GOOD laughs. And Michael Ealy…

Well any­way.

How­ever this is not a case of LIFE imi­tat­ing ART. In REAL life ladies, the 90 day rule to keep the COOKIE in the COOKIE JAR still ain’t gunna cut it. It’s still SIN, and won’t have God’s BLESSING on it. Unless you got mar­ried on Day 90…

In the BOOK of Corinthi­ans, GOD says for the UNMARRIED woman and VIRGIN to put her WHOLE FOCUS on the Lord, and not on EARTHLY things. 1 Cor. 7:34

God is the one worth think­ing about. No need to get all PSYCHOLOGICAL about men. No need to PSYCHOANALYZE and play MIND games. Don’t WASTE your time.

Keep your EYES and FOCUS on the LORD. His THOUGHTS are not our thoughts, and his WAYS are not our ways Isa­iah 55:8, no need to write your own love story, God’s gunna WORK it out JUST FINE.

Think like a woman!

“And so, dear broth­ers and sisters, I plead with you to give your bod­ies to God because of all he has done for you. Let them be a liv­ing and holy sac­ri­fice — the kind he will find accept­able. This is truly the way to wor­ship him. 

Don’t copy the behav­ior and cus­toms of this world, but let God trans­form you into a new per­son by chang­ing the way you think. Then you will learn to know God’s will for you, which is good and pleas­ing and per­fect.” Rom. 12:1 – 2

Take It Like a Woman: What If You Had to Live Single The Rest Of Your Life?

You are a SINGLE WOMAN want­ing to get MARRIED. You’re are BELIEVING in God for a HUSBAND. You’ve been wait­ing for YEARS, trust­ing in God, HOPING in God to man­i­fest this HEART’S desire. He has to do it, he must do it, or else…

Or else what?

What if we had to live SINGLE for the REST of our LIVES?

If our FAITH is SEALED in get­ting MARRIED one day, and we DELIGHT our­selves in the LORD, we BOTH know that WON’T hap­pen. EVER. Ps. 37:4

But if we ABSOLUTELY had to, could we, would we, accept it? Would we still LIVE as com­mit­ted and ded­i­cated to Christ? Go all OUT for HIM? Live our BEST life? Or would we THROW in the TOWEL?

Would you live DEPRESSED? Or REJOICE in every day? Would you HARP on how LONELY you are? Or be THANKFUL for what you do have? Could you fathom this exis­tence SISTER? With­out FEAR and bit­ter­ness, but with a JOYFUL NOISE? Ps. 81:1

I believe God is look­ing for brave and coura­geous WOMEN, who can not only FATHOM this exis­tence, but who are WILLING to live this LIFE if they had to, with­out com­plaints and REBELLION, but with faith­ful­ness and SERVITUDE. God is look­ing for DAUGHTERS who will do what­ever it takes to PLEASE and OBEY him. 1 Cor. 7:34 Often he is TESTING our RESOLVE.

It is a FEAR and REVERENCE that God is look­ing for in his SINGLE LADIES, a will­ing­ness to STORE self-desires away, LET GO, and TAKE what­ever chal­lenges God brings our way — like a WOMAN.

The Lord is my shepherd; I have all that I need. Psalm 23:1
