Every time I hear this song (which I used to love) I TURN OFF the RADIO as FAST as I CAN.

Listen to this song LONG ENOUGH, and you’ve reconciled with the trifling EX. Listen to this song LONG ENOUGH, and you are back with the CHEATER. Listen to this song LONG ENOUGH, and you’ll find yourself in somebody else’s bed.

As SINGLE women of God, WOMEN that know the Word, and women that live DIAMETRICALLY OPPOSED to the WOMEN of this WORLD, the WORST thing we CAN DO when making a DECISION about a MAN, is to LISTEN to our HEARTS!

We HEAR a lot about this in our EVERYDAY LIFE: ‘listen to your heart’, ‘what is your heart telling you?’, ‘the heart doesn’t lie’.

We HEAR it from our MOTHERS, sisters, best friends. It’s in CHICK FLICK MOVIES. Chick LIT. LOVE songs. It is the ADVICE of ‘hopeless romantics’.

But it is the WRONG advice for PRIESTESSES focusing on Christ. What we NEED to do is lISTEN to our HEADS!

Why do we listen to our HEADS over our HEARTS?

• We LISTEN to our HEADS because REBORN, we HAVE the MIND of CHRIST ( 1 Cor. 2:16).
• We LISTEN to our HEADS because REBORN, our MINDS are SOUND (2 Tim 1:7).
• We LISTEN to our HEADS because REBORN, our MINDS are RENEWED, proving what is that GOOD, and ACCEPTABLE, and PERFECT will of God. (Rom. 12:2)

So are you saying the HEART is a BAD THING? Of course NOT. However the HEART by NATURE is FLESHY & is EASILY INFLUENCED by the WAYS of this WORLD verses the WAYS of God:

For the spirit is willing, but the flesh is weak! (Matt 26:41)

For all that is in the world, the lust of the flesh, and the lust of the eyes, and the pride of life, is not of the Father, but is of the world. (I John 2:16)

The PROPER way we SHOULD FUNCTION and make DECISIONS, is by LISTENING and OPERATING by our HEADS, which HOLDS the Word of God, his RIGHTEOUS ways, and SOUND thinking.

Our SPIRIT-MAN confirms what our CHRIST-MIND is telling us, because we are connected to the ALMIGHTY GOD via the Holy Spirit.

It could be vice versa too. Our SPIRIT-MAN discerning SOMETHING that our Christ minds INTERPRET after.

Either way, our head and stead-fast spirit (Ps. 51:10), line up our thoughts, actions, and decisions according to God’s WILL. We should not be CONFUSED about anything!

Make no mistake, the HEART is a GIFT from GOD.

The HEART is DESIGNED to hold the LOVE of CHRIST to SHARE and PROCLAIM to the WORLD. It has the SUPERNATURAL ABILITY to LOVE our NEIGHBOURS as we LOVE ourselves. It has the DEPTH to hold the OCEAN of LOVE we have for our God-given SPOUSES and families. And it is where our PASSION, DESIRE, and DRIVE comes from to SERVE the LORD and OTHERS.

If you are on the FENCE on what to do about a CURRENT RELATIONSHIP, don’t LOOK to your HEART alone. It can MISLEAD you and LEAVE you ABANDONED and BROKENHEARTED from the very ONE you want to be with.

Your gutsy, fleshy EMOTIONS are the ONES that pull at your HEART-STRINGS. They have your HEART saying, “No one has ever made me feel this way. I’m so drawn and attracted to him. I can’t help it.  I love him.”

Your HEAD will get you out of the gutter and say, “This guy does not treat you RIGHT! He takes ADVANTAGE of YOU. He does not have your best interests in MIND. A husband should love his wife the way Christ loves the CHURCH (Eph. 5:25), and he doesn’t show any SIGN of that.”

Your warring heart will rebutle, “I WON’T feel this WAY about another GUY again. I know it. We can make a LIFE together — I want to marry him. I’m gunna do it.”

Your HEAD will snap you out of it and tell you, “He is not focused on PROVIDING for you, or PROTECTING you. The marriage WON’T work. He is SELF-CENTERED, he could NEVER love you the WAY he loves his OWN SELF (Eph. 5:28). You can’t, and WON’T do it!”

Is the DECISION you NEED to MAKE clear NOW?

What case is your HEART pleading right now about the MAN in YOUR LIFE? Is your HEAD sustaining it, or OVERRULING it?

Align yourself up with God’s WORD. PUT your HEART’S desires and LUSTS aside, and reflect on the Word of God for a moment.

LISTEN to the still small voice — the LEADING of the HOLY SPIRIT. Without a DOUBT, you will KNOW exactly what to do without HESITATION. Don’t IGNORE it!

The NEXT step may be CHALLENGING, and an UPHILL STRUGGLE, but you CAN’T go WRONG with God. You kNOW that. You are his child. And he won’t lead his child ASTRAY. Keep PRESSING!

Trust in him although it SEEMS, you’ve lost the love of your life. Lean on him in this heart-wrenching time (Prov. 3:5,6). Cast your CARE to the ONE that really CARES for you (I Peter 5:7). BEFORE you KNOW it, deliverance is HERE!

God will HAVE healed your BROKEN HEART, and MENDED the WOUND. You will be GRATEFUL that you ACTED ON what your DIVINE SENSES & SPIRIT led you TO DO instead of the FLESHY NATURE of the HEART.

You will be EMPOWERED WOMAN! You will be overtaken by GRACE to do what you ALONE could NOT do. ( 2 Cor. 12:9)

I DECLARE and SPEAK into your LIFE  right now that you will NO longer want him! God will LAY you down in delightful GREEN PASTURES, GUIDE you BESIDE the STILL peaceful WATERS, and RESTORE your troubled SOUL! (Ps 23:1) Amen!

I know! He’s done it for ME!

You will be BACK on TRACK sister! Weeping may ENDURE for a NIGHT, but JOY comes in the MORNING!!! (Ps. 30:5)

Above all else, guard your heart, for everything you do flows from it. (Prov. 4:23 NIV)

In 7 Steps to Getting Back to Dating I talk about some steps you can take to start dating again. These are some preliminary actions you can take to get your feet wet once you’ve opened up about dating again, and need some advice and direction on what to do next (since you’re so rusty ).

Once your ready to go ‘live’, get out the house, and get comfortable in an environment where you could meet God’s match for you, you will feel and know that the sky’s the limit with God.

If you’re a woman whose already taken these steps, and then some… and are already out and about with your fearfully and wonderfully-made self, these 11 likely places to meet God’s Match for you may include some places you have yet to explore.

God could send you your future husband anywhere at anytime. The grocery store, the gas station, it could be the pizza delivery guy.

It could be the PEDICURE guy with the STRONG hands at the NAIL SALON , or the co pilot flying your vacation plane to Aruba (I’ve been offered to sit in the cockpit with the pilots on a trip once — and I took them up on the offer!)

Whatever the way or form, that’s God’ CALL.

These 11 locations are places of substance where you can meet quality men. Places that you can attend on a regular basis — the same day, same time, week in, and week out.

These suggestions are offered to encourage you, keep you hopeful, and allow you to have the type of fun you may not have had in a long time.

Another factor about these 10 places, is that it offers some continuity and predictability for suitors on when and where to find you if they are ‘interested’ and have their eye on you.

Some suitors have the courage and confidence in God to approach you right away, while some need a little time and observation before they can make a move.

A one chance hit or miss encounter may be TOO MUCH PRESSURE for a guy.

Your anticipatory whereabouts will give them a little more confidence, allow them to be more relaxed, and see you as more ‘approachable.’

Don’t forget to SMILE!

Here are 11 likely places to meet God’s match for you:

1. HealthClub/Gym — This is a CONVENIENT place to MEET a MAN of God. You are HITTING two BIRDS with ONE STONE! Here you will MEET a MAN that TREASURES and VALUES his BODY, his HEALTH, and the TEMPLE of the HOLY SPIRIT.

A Health Club is a PLACE where people like to get SOCIAL. If you are a LADY that takes care of your HEALTH, and KNOWS the IMPORTANCE of exercise, you definitely have a CHANCE of MEETING an eligible BACHELOR that shares the SAME interests and MORE.

2. Cafe/Coffee Shop — These days, we see — and are often a part of — people HANGING OUT in a coffee shop with their LAP TOP computer on hand, sipping a Venti SKINNY VANILLA LATTE hold the WHIP extra HOT (did I say that right?).

A CAFE is a warm, cozy, and INVITING environment, where TWO PEOPLE can RELAX and ENGAGE in MEANINGFUL conversation. HERE  you can MEET some INTELLIGENT interesting men who like to get educated, MEET new people, and experience NEW THINGS.

3. Church Service — To state the OBVIOUS! This is probably the #1 place you’d BELIEVE to meet God’s match for you. And I agree with you, the chances are pretty good.

However, for some of us — maybe most of us — we are not destined to MEET our SOULMATE here. We are there to WORSHIP, praise, and to LEARN the WORD of God. We may not MEET our FUTURE HUSBAND there, but we’ll CERTAINLY learn what it TAKES to be a GODLY SPOUSE — and that’s EVERYTHING!

4. Singles Ministry  – Not all CHURCHES have this, although I believe all of them should. I once attended a church whose mission was to cater, serve, and value  families. Attending on my own, and not married with children, I felt left out of the EQUATION. However if there was a SINGLES MINISTRY there, it would have made me feel more WELCOMED and APPRECIATED.

If your church does not have a singles ministry, I encourage you to find one — if you are so led. If you cannot, and do not, no big deal, maybe you’ll hear about one some day.

5. Christian Group Excursions – This is something I’ve been meaning to do, but have not gotten around to it yet. If you get to it before I do, let me know how it goes!

Participating regularly in a Christian group excursion Ministry can have you fellowshipping with believers on a regular who don’t have HUGE family commitments, love TRAVELLING, love LEARNING about the LORD, and who EMBRACE the SINGLE LIFE while it LASTS…. You never know who you’ll meet, where you’ll go, what you’ll learn…

6. Online Dating – Many WOMEN are not comfortable with the idea of ONLINE dating, but you are putting yourself in the line of vision of potential suitors with the ability to communicate and get to know one another to a GOOD DEGREE. People are searching the internet for information, entertainment, and solutions to PROBLEMS. Many of US in the DEVELOPED WORLD post and contribute information everyday.

Submitting your PROFILE to an online dating site is simply participating in a CULTURE and COMMUNITY that you already belong to. It’s not as desperate as you think — in fact not at all.

7. Social COMMUNITY Events — Many places have weekly social events and activities. Perhaps Tuesdays is team bowling night somewhere, Wednesdays Karaoke at the Steak house, Thursdays roller skating, and Saturday morning a drama class at your local community centre, or a writing workshop at your local library.

Find something you enjoy — invite people  – and have some fun every week!

8. Night Business School — I once attended a workshop where the male speaker said one of the BEST places to find eligible bachelors was in evening business school classes. Who would’a thought? But it makes MUCH sense! There you will find intelligent men with goals and aspirations to become better and achieve more.

9. Missions Trip — Mission trips take passion, preparation, money, time, patience, a desire to learn about different cultures, and most importantly,  an insatiable DRIVE to SHARE the Gospel of Jesus Christ. It takes a PARTICULAR PERSON to do this, but if that’s YOU, this is a FANTASTIC opportunity to meet God’s match for you!

10. Fundraisers - There are many activities and goals of different ministries to raise funds for special projects such as outreach ministries, new ministries, construction/renovation, church maintenance etc..

If you are an individual who is already conducting a fundraiser, or plans to participate or START one, this is a wonderful place to meet someone who shares your PASSION, dedication, and KACK for STRATEGIC planning & RAISING FUNDS to the GLORY of God!

11. Christian Employment – Proceed with much CAUTION! This could be very RISKY! Many places of employment FROWN upon any kind of relationship outside of the CONTEXT of WORK, and it can COST you your JOB.

Make NO MOVES, don’t even BAT an eye lash sister… send no FLIRY invitations to start anything romantically at work, or outside of work. This OUTLET is simply a means to ‘meet’ single eligible men. Work, communicate, and conduct relationships professionally as if it is any other job.

The underlining premise here is that you SHOW UP for WORK, do a GOOD JOB, and let God do the REST…BE STILL! (Psalm 46:10)

Like I mentioned in the beginning, God can send you your future husband anywhere and at anytime. It may not be in any of these places, however these type of environments are healthy and empowering for the mind and soul, especially if you’ve been a hermit at home, getting more and more discouraged as the years go by because you are not married…

I suggested choosing at least one of these places (in addition to your home church services & singles ministry), to be in attendance on a regular basis. Or maybe you have some likely places of your own where you’d like to start occupying your time.

Even if you just meet one man, go on one date, you will see how EASY the TRANSITION can be. Even if you meet NO ONE for a while, but are in the right atmosphere (with a SMILE on your face), you will have more confidence and be more HOPEFUL for what God has in store for your future.

Sister girl, if you are where I was up to a month ago, dating is something ancient to your repertoire. There are a number of reasons that could be, I can tell you mine which is simple.

I was dating someone tumultuously on and off for years. Upon graduating from University in spring of 2009, I finally called it quits and moved to Canada — my country of birth — to look for work as a teacher.

In that span of time of about two years, I was not FOCUS or CONCERNED about dating. The door was CLOSED. I wanted to get MARRIED, but too much other STIMULI was GOING ON. I was excited to move back to Canada, see my friends, and move into my new apartment.

Included in the AGENDA, was pursuing the VISION and MISSION the LORD gave me for a BLOG MINISTRY. I put all my focus, energy, and time into it along with SEARCHING for a TEACHING JOB and spending TIME with FAMILY.

But my time there did not last long. Unable to find a stable job, I moved back to the US to live with my parents. I’ve been back a period of 5 months now, and am still passionately working on this Ministry Blog — it gives me great joy and purpose! However there’s been a shift.

God has opened up some doors that have previously been closed:

1. I’m READY to DATE again!

2. I GOT a fantastic job!

I don’t know if it’s because my biological clock is ticking, my Ministry is rooted and established, or because I’ve recently moved back to the States where my PRESSURES are not that GREAT. But a SPRING SEASON has ARRIVED in my LIFE propelling ME into MY DESTINY!

And there’s MORE! This NEW job places me right SMACK DAB in the MIDDLE of an ENVIRONMENT consisting of about 70% dignified, and honest male workers!

I’ve NEVER looked at SO MANY left ring fingers in all of my life! OPPORTUNITY is knocking everyday for ME. The LORD has SET ME up REAL WELL. Thank you JESUS!

But ENOUGH about ME.

That little BLURB was to TELL YOU that I was most likely in the SAME PLACE you are right now, and that I am just sailing out off…

PERHAPS YOU have been single for some time, and NOT thinking about dating right now. You could be discouraged, too busy, or even given up on meeting a prospect for marriage because it’s been so LONG and you’re getting OLDER.

If you’re thinking your TIME has come to DATE again, you’re TIRED of being in the HOUSE, and you WANT to take SOME STEPS that will ENCOURAGE YOU and have you MORE HOPEFUL, then it is not by chance you are READING this post.

Your SPRING SEASON has ARRIVED as well, and there are some FLOWERS ready to BLOOM. Here are 7 steps you can take:

1. Attitude – I’ve come to understand that attitude is first and foremost important to getting back to dating.Without the right attitude of open-mindedness, expectation, hope, and trust in God that he will SEND you the RIGHT suitor one day, you’re CLOSING the very DOOR you KNOCKED on asking God to MAKE it HAPPEN! (Matt 7:7).

Your faith that you will get married ONE DAY, is the evidence that it will HAPPEN (Heb. 11:1). Having the right attitude about dating is showing God that you are walking by faith and not by sight (2 Cor. 5:7) no matter how long you’ve been single, or how old you are.

2. Know Who Your Waiting For — This is CRUCIAL, and as a MATTER of FACT, I believe knowing the exact type of man you desire to marry, his Godly values, his human traits and behaviours, will HELP bring him forth QUICKER, and give you CONVICTION sooner than LATER that he’s THE ONE!

CARRYING the VISION, the BLUEPRINT, of who you want to MARRY shows a HIGH LEVEL of faith, commitment, and readiness to God for marriage and covenant.

What type of guy do you want to marry? What Godly values are you looking for? What characteristics do you want him to have? Which ones don’t you want him to have? (It’s important to know that too.)

This is VISION. We NEED vision, a CLEAR PICTURE of who we want to marry. It’s God who has given us this VISION anyway, but your acknowledgement and value of it will show God you are desiring his will for your life and living in expectation.

You can write down (Hab 2:2) who you’re looking for to EMPOWER you while you WAIT, and for better CLARIFICATION. This will help you to stick to your expectations and not give in to the wrong man.

We need to know what to expect so we will recognize it when we see it. If you begin to date someone that does not match up to your vision, or is displaying traits that you don’t like, it is a sign that you need to shut it down right away. This will save you time, energy, and heartache!

3. Grooming – Sister, lets get it together. The 1st LADY of your CHURCH should not be the only one groomed and presentable on a regular basis. If we want to put ourselves back on the MARKET, we NEED to PHYSICALLY DISPLAY who we are in CHRIST.

This is not being superficial, for you are representing yourself as a woman of VIRTUE that takes care of herself and her temple.

People KNOW the TRUTH about a PERSON more by their non verbal communication (dress, facial expressions, habits, behaviours) than verbal. This is a STATISTIC in the Communication field. So we better START working on our appearance to EFFECTIVELY communicate who we ARE!

We need to start taking extra time finding the right clothes to wear (flattering the shape), fixing our hair, wearing skirts and/or heels once and a while. Putting on a few items of make up doesn’t hurt either.

Wearing a scarf to the grocery store with curlers underneath is NO LONGER an option. Chipped nail polish on a date is a faux pas. Wearing baggy clothing on the regular has got to stop. A MAN of God will notice a woman right a way who dresses with dignity and honour.

You never  know who you’ll meet and where.  Every OPPORTUNITY where you are visible and presentable is an OPEN INVITATION for a man to WHISK into your life, and SPARK up a conversation. So dress virtuously.

You don’t have to purchase a NEW wardrobe or spend a fortune shopping. A few items of clothing that you can mix and match well will suffice. Not only will you draw men’s attention, but you will FEEL GOOD about yourself and FEEL MORE like the WOMAN of WORTH that you are.

4. Diet/Exercise — So you have the right attitude, know the type of man to expect, and you’re taking extra time to groom yourself nicely. On a side bar, it is important that you are taking care of your body on a regular basis, keeping fit, and eating right. This is something you should be doing already, but if you haven’t started yet, NOW is the TIME!

Healthy eating and exercise will get you to your OPTIMAL BEST. Your HEART will be HEALTHY, elongating your LIFE, you will TRIMM excess body fat, FIRM and STRENGTHEN your muscles for MORE ENERGY, STRENGTH and STAMINA, and you will ELEVATE  your MOOD.

5. Be Visible — Don’t hide out in a closet, behind a desk, under a rock, or in the TRENCHES. Get out GIRL!

STOP hybernating. Joie de vivre! Get out the house on a regular basis, find something to get involved in that will put yourself in the LINE of VISION of SUITORS.

RUTH was in BOAZ’s line of SIGHT in the FIELD when he NOTICED HER.What SOCIAL ACTIVITIES and/or GROUPS can you get involved in? There are christian singles groups and ministries to partake in. Or maybe you can be like me and find a job where you are interacting with new people everyday.

Another option is setting up a profile on a Christian dating site. Some women object to this. It’s not my thing either, but I had a co worker that met her MAN of GOD — a PASTOR — through an ONLINE DATING SITE and is NOW happily MARRIED.

It is definitely an OPTION because you’re putting yourself in the LINE of VISION of Godly men. Brainstorm places where you can be on a regular basis then EXECUTE!

6. Let Your Light Shine! — This ONE can EASILY have you standing out from the REST and it shouldn’t be HARD to do. If you are a faithful believer, seeking the Kingdom of God and his Righteousness above all ELSE, I can guarantee you your light is SHINNING for the WORLD to SEE.

Be who you are in CHRIST. Let the FRUITS of the SPIRIT speak for YOU. LOVE on others. Serve. Be JOYFUL of the LORD as it is your STRENGTH & your SONG! Don’t forget to SMILE! Be at PEACE with OTHERS. Forgive, and be forgiven. There are GOOD PLANS and MUCH HOPE for your FUTURE!

You are the SALT of the EARTH will the ability to CHANGE and AFFECT things for Christ. Your Godly acts for the Lord and the LIFESTYLE it brings will have you respected and CREATE the right REPUTATION for YOU around the RIGHT PEOPLE.

7. Give All likely Suitors a Chance! — Were you PICKY when DATING BACK in the DAY? Many women go by instant attraction/chemistry when they date. But if you only go out on DATES by this variable (which is FLESHY anyway), you will miss out on OPPORTUNITIES that God can work through, surprise, and impress you.

Plus, the more dates you go on, the higher the chances, and the closer you’ll get to meeting ‘the one’.

Many married couples will tell you it took a while for there to be attraction between the two. So it doesn’t hurt to get to know a man even if you don’t see him in a romantic way. A good marriage starts with good friendship. The rest will evolve into what God wants it to be.

Who knows, maybe you’ll discover some additional characteristics you’d like in a husband. You may find out about more hang outs/ministries, or he could be someone to just network with.

Dating is a process that can take some time. Weeks, months, years and years. But by taking all the aforementioned steps, you will be on the right path to meeting your destiny. To conclude, all these are great steps to take to get back to dating, but it is important that I mention, DON’T BE DESPERATE!

Relax, have fun, let your DESTINY unfold in the fulness of it’s own TIME. Some women say they met their husband when they WEREN’T looking.

KEEP the FAITH, WALK in expectation, and STAY committed to the LORD. BASK in this SINGLE SEASON and the ASSIGNMENT God has for you RIGHT NOW.

It won’t last forever.

There are those dry seasons, days, moments, hours in LIFE when things GET unbearably TOUGH. So tough, it’s suffocating. So suffocating, you wonder, what’s the point of living anymore? Why am I going through this? Why do I have to live in misery? God I don’t want to do this anymore! Take me now!

You KNOW what I MEAN. And I KNOW you know what I MEAN because TRIALS & TRIBULATIONS are the INHERITANCE of every BELIEVER (1 Cor. 10:13; 1 Peter 4:12,13) — but for GOOD REASON.

Jesus came to give us a BETTER QUALITY of LIFE (John 10:10) but we’re ALSO destined to CARRY our CROSSES too. (Matt 10:38)

So part of the REASSURANCE here, is that ALL believers go through THESE tumultuous times in some way, shape, or form. Whatever you’re GOING THROUGH on any GIVE DAY, another BELIEVER on the OTHER SIDE of the WORLD is experiencing the SAME kinda thing.

ALL believers are SENTENCED to PAIN & AGONY in LIFE, but it is, to the GLORY of GOD. If we didn’t go through these STORMS, and we managed well on our own, how would we DRAW CLOSER to God? How would we DEPEND MORE on HIM?

How would we get to the NEXT LEVEL of FAITH, being able to SHARE our TESTIMONIES to exhort OTHERS?

It’s all PART of HIS PLAN. The divine METRICS! God has good PLANS for us.  But be COGNIZANT that his GOOD PLANS DO involve some PAIN and SUFFERING to get to the manifestation of those PLANS!

Our divine destinies and assignments won’t always FEEL GOOD. But that doesn’t mean we’re not EN ROUTE to the fulfilment of HIS WILL for our LIVES.

Jesus is the ULTIMATE example. Why did the KING of KINGS, the SON of the FATHER, the CHRIST, have to SUFFER so? Why did God MAKE it that WAY?

PAIN is PROCESS. It is a SMALL piece of a BIGGER puzzle. You KNOW our God, his WAYS and THOUGHTS are NOT as our OWN. (Isaiah 55:8)

But to RECEIVE our heavenly TRUST FUND, we MUST endure, we MUST go THROUGH the FIRE. There is NO other WAY to get to the FATHER. (John 14:6).

And just like the GLORY & MAJESTY Jesus RECEIVED on the OTHER SIDE of the SUFFERING, there is something WONDERFUL for us on the OTHER SIDE as well.

But it’s NOT easy to ENDURE is it? It isn’t EASY to SUCK it UP, brush our SHOULDERS off, and PAINT a SMILE on our FACE. That’s because we can’t do it ALONE. WE  need to DRAW on the strength of the FATHER.

In the HEAT of the MOMENT, the RAGING EMOTIONS, the SEA of TEARS, nothing is EASY — so we NEED him DESPERATELY!

You KNOW what you NEED to do. Your PASTORS and LEADERS have told you a 1000 times. Continue to Praise. Continue to Pray. Continue to be thankful. Continue to worship the LORD.

But in the LOWNESS of your VALLEY, you’re STONE COLD. Your HEART is HARDENED — even towards God. You’re  FEELING SORRY for yourself thinking… POOR ME.

But if we could JUST let out a BATTLE CRY…

A battle cry from the DEEP DARK pit of DESPAIR. A BATTLE CRY from the MUSTY & MOLDY trenches.

It can be a LOUD and AGGRESSIVE CRY, but it DOESN’T HAVE to BE. We’re NOT dealing with SOMETHING or SOMEONE  in the NATURAL:

For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places. (Eph. 6:12)

Our BATTLE CRY can be nothing more than a soft whisper of SCRIPTURE…

For the word of God is quick, and powerful, and sharper than any twoedged sword, piercing even to the dividing asunder of soul and spirit, and of the joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart. (Heb. 4:12)

Our BATTLE CRY can be nothing more than a few sweetly inspired WORDS from the Holy Spirit to the FATHER:

And the Holy Spirit helps us in our weakness. For example, we don’t know what God wants us to pray for. But the Holy Spirit prays for us with groanings that cannot be expressed in words. And the Father who knows all hearts knows what the Spirit is saying, for the Spirit pleads for us believers in harmony with God’s own will. (Rom. 8:26,27)

If we COULD just let out a BATTLE CRY — one battle cry, any battle cry — we’ve REGAINED our GROUND, MARKED our TERRITORY, and RE POSITIONED ourselves as VICTORS.

God will do the REST. His GRACE is ENOUGH!

Here are at least 50 BATTLE CRIES to get you out of the TRENCHES:

1. Thank you Jesus

2. God is Good

3. Greater is HE that is in ME

4. I will BLESS the Lord at all times/I will CONTINUE to SPEAK his PRAISES

5. Hallelujah!

6. The LORD rebuke you SATAN!

7. Help Lord!

8. My BODY is a LIVING SACRIFICE

9. Bless you/God bless you

10. I NEED you Jesus

11. God is in Control

12. It won’t work

13. I won’t allow it to happen

14. The BLOOD of Jesus!

15. I can do this thing through Christ

16. With God this thing is possible

17. Your will be done Lord not my own

18. LORD, I trust you’re working this OUT

19. I still TRUST you LORD

20. Lord you did not give me the Spirit of Fear

21. LORD I’m asking…

22. In JESUS name

23. There is more going on that I can’t see/know

24. I am HEALED in Jesus Name

25. Jehovah Rapha you will HEAL

25. Jehovah Jireh you will PROVIDE

26. This is WORKING OUT for my GOOD/ for the BEST

27. My JOY comes from the LORD

28. The LORD is my SHEPHERD he’ll LEAD the WAY

29. I will REJOICE in this DAY.

30. Help me HOLY SPIRIT

31. Only God can Judge Me

32. I don’t RECEIVE that!

33. I  don’t believe that!

34. Lord you promised… so it will come to pass

35. Lord your WORD says …. so it will come to pass

36. I RECEIVE the PEACE of the LORD

37. I RECEIVE the JOY of the LORD

Accepting our bodies the way God made them is a great FEAT amongst WOMEN. We are BOMBARDED with media PROPAGANDA everyday, telling us WHAT beauty is, and WHO beauty is.

But we know the WAYS of this WORLD are not Godly. The ways of this WORLD do not promote PEACE of MIND and instill JOY in our HEARTS. The ways of this WORLD are RECKLESS, harsh — even CRUEL.

Society’s DEMANDS and EXPECTATIONS for our BODIES to look a CERTAIN WAY places a constant STRAIN on our MINDS — the Battlefield.

It HARBOURS in us a poor BODY IMAGE that as DAUGHTERS, and PRIESTESSES, and PROPHETS of God, should not BE.

Every time I WEIGH myself on a SCALE — and I’m sure many of you can RELATE — I am DISEMPOWERED because it’s not SHOWING me the NUMBERS I want to SEE! No matter how MUCH clothing I SHED or how EMPTY my STOMACH is.

This has been going on for 24 YEARS! I’ve let a superficial IMAGE and IDENTITY define what I’m supposed to look like, HOW much I’m supposed to WEIGH, and my JEAN size.

So HOW are we BEAUTIFUL then? Truly?

I will praise You, for I am fearfully and wonderfully made; Marvelous are Your works, And that my soul knows very well. (Ps. 139:14 NKJV)

Or do you not know that your body is the temple of the Holy Spirit who is in you, whom you have from God, and you are not your own? For you were bought at a price; therefore glorify God in your body and in your spirit, which are God’s. (1 Cor. 6:19-20 NKJV)

So God created man in His own image; in the image of God He created him; male and female He created them. (Gen. 1:27 NKJV)

How’s that for BEAUTY?!!!  I BET you FELT a SHIFT there!  I know I did!

It makes you feel SILLY for getting hung up over the TRIVIAL, the superficial that DOES NOT last, and not embracing the way God made us — glorious, magnificent, and PERFECT!

So THAT’S why for ME this YEAR, my NEW YEAR’S resolution, is to REBUKE the DEVOURER, the THIEF of PEACE, and the AUTHOR of HAVOC. I RESOLVE to use my Heavenly Armour against HIM, and DECLARE peace and joy just the way I AM!

NO MORE will I let the media and people in the LIMELIGHT define ME — the actresses, the models, BEYONCE.

This is the year I WILL no longer weigh myself REGULARLY. I will now ENSURE a HEALTHY body weight by the WAY my CLOTHES fit ME. The SCALE will NO LONGER keep me SHACKLED and in BONDAGE! I will continue to be FAITHFUL with my ANNUAL check-ups.

Of course, we can’t let ourselves SLIDE either. Exercise and eating the RIGHT foods is God’s PROVISION for WELL-BEING and LIVELIHOOD. It is his PROVISION for our BODIES to work efficiently, endurably, and with LENIENCY.

Cardiovascular EXERCISE and STRENGTH TRAINING add YEARS to our LIVES.

The SWEET ripe freshness of FRUIT that was CREATED for Adam and Eve in the GARDEN of EDEN (Gen. 2:8,9) is still meant to be the STAPLE of our DIET today.

Every SEED bearing plant/vegetation was CREATED by God to be sustenance and NOURISHMENT (Gen. 1:29,30).

Some WOMEN are at the OPPOSITE end of the SPECTRUM.

Instead of engaging in MODERATE exercise and acquiring SENSIBLE eating habits to get to their NATURAL and healthy body weight, they happily CHOOSE to STAY the SIZE and WEIGHT that they are, which according to physician STANDARDS, PROVE them to be PRIME candidates for hypertension, diabetes, high cholesterol, heart disease etc..

Let’s find a BALANCE ladies. If your physician tells you all is well with your BODY, and you EXERCISE and do your BEST with eating well, LET’S no longer STRESS.

We NOW (speaking those things that be not as though they were) have PEACE of MIND and BASK in the marvellousness of HOW we were MADE, WHY we are MADE, and WHO MADE us!

Hallelujah!

If your HEALTH is at RISK, take the necessary steps to get to a HEALTHIER state. DON’T ignore or DISMISS it. A little EFFORT everyday will ADD up in the LONG RUN, and you WILL get to WHERE you NEED to be. God will ENSURE it.

For you can do all THINGS through HIM, and what seems IMPOSSIBLE to you, is MORE than POSSIBLE with GOD. His GRACE is MORE than ENOUGH!

I CHALLENGE you today. TAKE a LOOK in the MIRROR at your WHOLE SELF.

What do you SEE? Who do you SEE? And can you be ALL-FEARFUL & WONDERFULLY accepting of IT?

YES!

I INVITE you to JOIN me this YEAR to embrace our BODIES to the fullest EXTENT — with the HELP of our God. Take this VOYAGE with ME, God is for it, so let’s NOT be AGAINST IT!

You can tell a lot about a person by their CORE VALUES. If they’re HONOURABLE and GODLY, people will be ATTRACTED to them. If they’re VAIN and of this WORLD, people will be TURNED OFF.

As the BODY of CHRIST, we have so many HOLY and DIVINE core values that makes us SHINE and garner us ATTENTION i.e. Salvation, the Love of Christ, the Trinity, the Word of God, Christ’s RETURN, Repentance, Grace, Prayer, Faith etc..

As INDIVIDUAL believers, we have additional core values that vary according to our individuality and that make us UNIQUE i.e. spiritual gifts, callings, blessings, skills, experiences, circumstances, talents, passions, personality etc..

One way that God can reveal a Ministry Vision and Ministry Mission to us, is through any, or all of these core values.

By recognizing and writing down all your core values, you will be given Holy Spirit revelation, and/or direction, and/or wisdom, on how to hone them into a ministry vision and mission. It will feel, and be, PERFECT for you. Like a HAND in glove.

When you put in the time, HEART, and effort to evaluate your core values, and then give it all to God in PRAYER and in EXPECTATION, he WILL give you the revelation and blessing. Get READY for some HOLY SPIRIT fire & empowerment!

Begin writing down everything that is of value to you, and that you hold close to you every moment of every day.

What do you dream about? What gives you joy and peace? What inspires you? How do you enjoy helping others? What do you crave to offer? What do you hope to see in the future? What special gift do you have that you’re compelled to use? What would you like to change? What are you passions? Write them all down.

When I think back to receiving my Ministry vision and mission, I realize it came out of meditating and reflecting on a combination of my individual core values, and core values as a believer.

One core value I hold dear, is living my single life courageously, obediently, and in faith that God will provide for me, and bless me with marriage and family in the FUTURE.

I may get discouraged at times, but it is extremely important to me not to let go and give up. This passion and desire OVERRIDES any pain, or loneliness, or fear I feel at any MOMENT. I just believe God about this no matter how BLEAK the circumstances. I JUST DO.

Not only is this one of my major core values, but so is seeing this come to pass for other single women as well. I STRONGLY believe this is the inheritance for all single women in Christ who desire marriage and family.

I believe SINGLE WOMEN living their Divine Destiny in the absolute TRUTH of the GOSPEL, with Godly INTEGRITY, and in the DIGNIFIED manner of RUTH and the Proverbs 31 Woman, is not just possible, but is God’s WILL and DESIRE for our lives.

I don’t think we see enough of this manifestation and I want to do something about it!!!

It is this CORE VALUE — the ROCK — upon which I built this CHURCH MINISTRY. The ROCK that BIRTHED my PASSIONATE vision and mission that FUELS me everyday.

After taking inventory of YOUR core values, write them all down. You may get vision right away, bits and pieces now, or all of it later. The important thing is to start meditating on it, asking God for guidance, and listening closely and intently for his words and direction. He won’t let you down.

Your core values are not by chance. They are not whimsical. They are by DIVINE intention and DESIGN. Your core values equip you to LET GO of your life, pick up your CROSS, and discover the ONE you were meant to live.

I have no doubt that God will open up the WINDOWS of heaven, and pour you out this BLESSING! It is why we are here!

Upon which ROCK will you build your CHURCH?

God has given you a Ministry Vision. Something new, something unheard of, but something you know will change and affect the world for Christ. It’s not easy to start a new and unconventional ministry in the Church.

The CHURCH – the Body of Christ —  has been operating by the same blueprint for centuries, in which souls have received SALVATION and come to know Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior. Praise God!

As a result, for the ultra conservative, the traditionalist, one can deduce that a new way of doing Ministry is not necessary, or should even exist.

However when one STUDIES and understands the structure of the Church laid by the Apostle Paul (Eph 4:11) one can see — by Holy Spirit revelation — that there are hundreds of ways believers can undertake and conduct Ministry upholding the 5 point structure of the CHURCH.

And hundreds of ways to use the differs gifts that the one Spirit has given us. (1 Cor. 12:4)

We are in the end of days. The Word of God is AIMED to reach the FOUR corners of the earth bringing souls to repentance. (Matt 24:14)

Therefore it would make sense, that God would ORDAIN hundreds of different types of Ministries to fill and SPROUT the EARTH.

Here are 7 Ways Innovative Ministries are Empowering the Church:

1 — Creates a New Avenue For Witnessing & Bringing Souls to Christ — With the technology and resources we have today, and a snapshot of what is to come, innovative MINISTRIES with original and new IDEAS, can use this PROVISION to take ROOT and FLOURISH in any area God sees fit. You call it, as the Holy Spirit reveals the VISION to you.

SALVATION will be MINISTERED to an unreached population that we now have access to because we are doing things CREATIVELY & DIFFERENTLY, using our AVAILABLE resources, while still ABIDING by the WORD of God.

For no one can lay any foundation other than the one we already have—Jesus Christ. Anyone who builds on that foundation may use a variety of materials—gold, silver, jewels, wood, hay, or straw.

But on the judgment day, fire will reveal what kind of work each builder has done. The fire will show if a person’s work has any value. (1 Cor. 3:11-12 NLT)

2 — Attracts More Workers For the Harvest Matt 9:37 — Jesus said it — We have a plentiful harvest, but few labourers to do the work.

The GREAT thing about new and innovative Ministries, is that it will attract more WORKERS!

It will ATTRACT the attention of those who are believers, but not yet serving in Ministry. Or those serving in Ministry, but not the one God has called them to.

The more catered, or specific the ministry, the BETTER the opportunity to attract WORKERS that have the GIFTS and PASSIONS that are CONDUCIVE to that particular MINISTRY.

3 — Births New Ministries – Another EMPOWERING thing about innovative ministries, is that it may give revelation, or direction, or confirmation to another believer — or band of believers — to birth their own innovative ministry.

Others can be exhorted to engage in the Ministry God has spoken to them about, but were unsure or doubtful of, because the Ministry was not like the others.

Witnessing another’s innovative ministry may be exactly what they need to take that FIRST courageous step of faith towards their divine destiny.

4 — Creates a New Breed of Visionaries and Leaders – With new visionaries, come new leadership, and a ‘new way of doing’ things. What GREAT potential there is!

NEW visionaries and leaders can PLANT and BIRTH a WHOLE bloodline of equipped and spirit-led leaders, conducting ministry in a way that will produce fruitful, supernatural, and long lasting results for the KINGDOM.

And he gave some, apostles; and some, prophets; and some, evangelists; and some, pastors and teachers; For the perfecting of the saints, for the work of the ministry, for the edifying of the body of Christ: (Eph. 4:11,12)

5 — Opens Opportunity For Full Time Ministry & Earning a Living - With GREAT innovation, comes great OPPORTUNITY — opportunity that unleashes UNLIMITED potential of all kind of SORTS, and for all kinds of people.

Unlimited opportunity includes the POTENTIAL calling of ONE to earn a living in full-time MINISTRY.

We see Pastors, and Preachers, televangelists, and Bishops in the media doing this today. How this opportunity will work for you is influenced by a variety of factors.

Vision is where all MINISTRY begins. So I would start seeking God’s will for your life if you have not already, submitting and obeying him, and then waiting on revelation and vision for the FUEL and the FIRE…

Write down the revelation and make it plain on tablets so that a herald may run with it. (Hab 2:2)

6 — Breaks the Molds of Tradition — Although TRADITION gives us STRUCTURE, and preserves CULTURE and VALUES through the AGES, strict tradition DOES NOT make room for the “NEW”.

It does not make room for NEW spirit-led ideas and DIRECTION that PROGRESSES the Kingdom and God’s PLAN for ultimate RESTORATION.

Innovative Ministries break the MOLD of tradition and allow the LIVING BREATHING Spirit of God to lead the CHURCH – not rules and regulations that get STUCK in TIME.

7 — Keeps the Secular World’s Eye on Us — Most of the secular DEVELOPED world have STEREOTYPED our faith. Called it RELIGION.

Called Christians HYPOCRITES, and expect nothing short of PERFECTION from us because we are BELIEVERS who are SUPPOSED to be like Christ. If we FALL SHORT, we are a DISGRACE.

However innovative Spirit-led Ministries that are IMMERSED in the marketplace, in the secular person’s social media timeline, and amidst the modern day technology that has MESMERIZED the world, have a FRESH way of representing our faith, sharing the GOSPEL, and shining new light on WHO WE ARE.

With innovative ministry, we can be more PASSIVE than ACTIVE if we want to, and have the UNSAVED approach us, as opposed to us approaching them, because we exist and operate with the technology, and in the arenas that peak their interests and hold their DREAMS.

Innovative Ministries are NOT for everyone. God may have called you to a traditional ministry that brings you GREAT joy and fulfillment. Praise God for that! For in joyful ministry, is abundant life, the life that Jesus came to give. (John 10:10)

What matters in the END, is SPIRIT-LED, biblical, and heartfelt ministry. Whether innovative or traditional, we all belong somewhere. Somewhere where the best of who we are in Christ can SHINE. Somewhere where in the END, GOD will say, “Well Done”.

That is, if you are a living by the wisdom and guidance of the Holy Spirit within you. . All Spirit-filled believers are MODERN DAY prophets.

Sounds like a BOLD, inaccurate, & incorrect statement, but I will GLADLY make light of why this is so by:

• looking at the definition of Biblical PROPHET
• reviewing and analyzing some Old Covenant PROPHETS
• highlighting some NEW COVENANT scriptures that ANOINT us with the GIFT of prophecy &  ORDAIN us as MODERN DAY prophets

Biblical Prophet Def’n:

[Prophets were the immediate organs of God for the communication of his mind and will to men (Deut. 18:18, 19).

The foretelling of future events was not a necessary but only an incidental part of the prophetic office.

The great task assigned to the prophets whom God raised up among the people was “to correct moral and religious abuses,

to proclaim the great moral and religious truths which are connected with the character of God, and which lie at the foundation of his government.”]

So we see from this definition that a PROPHET’S purpose or role is TWOFOLD:

1) they received direct revelation from God to communicate his commands, rules, and LAWS to his CHOSEN people

2) they sometimes possessed the ability to foretell FUTURE events

Old Covenant Prophets:

Here are some Old Covenant PROPHETS that lit the WAY and BLAZED the TRAIL for the future GLORY of Jerusalem…

New Covenant PROPHETIC Gift:

The BELOW New Covenant scriptures CLEARLY anoint and ORDAIN us as modern day PROPHETS with all the supernatural abilities that the Old Covenant PROPHETS had:

But in fact, it is best for you that I go away, because if I don’t, the Advocate [Holy Spirit] won’t come. If I do go away, then I will send him to you…. (Read John 16:7-8)

When the Spirit of Truth comes, he will guide you into all truth. He will not speak on his own but will tell you what he has heard. He will tell you about the future…. (Read John 16:13-14)

‘In the last days,’ God says, ‘I will pour out my Spirit upon all people. Your sons and daughters will prophesy. Your young men will see visions, and your old men will dream dreams…. (Read Acts 2:17-18)

As you can see from the definition of PROPHET, these scriptures reveal that we have both aspects of what a PROPHET is.

We have the SACRED GIFT of the Holy Spirit within us, guiding us according to what he has heard from CHRIST.

As a result — hearing from the Holy Spirit — we can SPEAK and prophesy to one another, and to the WORLD, by direct revelation from God.

We also see that the Holy Spirit tells us about our FUTURE. We all have this GIFT now.

You are a MODERN DAY prophet with PROPHETIC ability. You are the SALT of the EARTH (Matt 5:13) meant to change and affect things for Christ.

You are MEANT to SPEAK direct revelation from God to the NATIONS, testifying that Jesus is LORD.

You have the GIFT to speak about the FUTURE and CONVICT the WORLD about sin, righteousness, and the COMING judgement.

This is the GREATEST time in HISTORY for the BELIEVER. Not because of this digital/information age, but because JESUS conquered DEATH, rose, & is SEATED in the highest place of HONOR in Heaven.

It is the GREATEST time because JESUS has BAPTIZED us with the Holy Spirit and with FIRE.  (Matt 3:11) And it is this SUPERNATURAL manifestation that ORDAINS us as PROPHETS, as we live SPIRIT-FILLED lives…

You may not hold OFFICE of PROPHET, meaning, your main MINISTRY may not be PROPHESYING to people, but the GIFT of PROPHECY lies within you — ready to be USED at God’s WILL!

This is your time PROPHET! You were PLANTED on this EARTH for a REASON!

What will you do with your PROPHETIC ability? Will you let it SHINE for Christ giving God GLORY? Or will you let it remain DORMANT, giving the Spirit of this world POWER and INFLUENCE?

Make a DECISION. Be that VESSEL. And let the WORD of God be SPOKEN through YOU!

Who Has God Called You To Be?

God has a TONGUE! I bet you’ve NEVER thought about that BEFORE. That’s why we HAVE one. We are MADE in his IMAGE. (Genesis 9:6)

In the beginning, when God CREATED the HEAVENS and the EARTH, he SPOKE it into EXISTENCE with the POWER of his TONGUE.

There is SUPERNATURAL POWER in the TONGUE. (Prov. 18:21)

So MUCH so, that it REACHES the REALMS of LIFE and DEATH. From heart- beating — to heart-stopping, that’s how TRANSCENDENTAL it is.

Our TONGUE possessing DIVINE POWER is something we MAY not think about EVERYDAY, but we NEED to START. For it DETERMINES our LIFE-LONG FATE.

According to a RECENT research report studying PEOPLE with ACTIVE social lives, the average words a woman SPEAKS in a DAY is 20,000, and MEN 13,000.

For women, that’s an average of 1,067 sentences a day, with at least 15 words per sentence. For men that’s 867 sentences.

So the LIFE-CHANGING question is, are you using all these WORDS WISELY?

We are SOWING into our DESTINY and LIFESPAN with each WORD we say, and we will REAP the FRUIT thereof….

We can be ADDING years to our LIFE with WORDS of faith, hope, and love, or we can be CUTTING it SHORT, with WORDS that God CAN’T STAND to HEAR.

Speaking Death:

How do we SPEAK death into our lives? There are a lot of ways:

• curse words
• sarcasm
• insecure COMMENTS about ourselves
• speaking defeat
• complaining/whining (ISRAELITES in the wilderness)
• negativity
• chastising
• judging another
• condescending another
• words of vengeance
• words of malice
• words of anger
• gossiping
• lying
• deceiving
• omitting words that SHOULD BE spoken
• using the Lord’s name in VEIN
• idolatry

We probably SPEAK at least one of those a day out of out of our 13,000-20,000 words. Even as we live SANCTIFIED, holy, and obedient, screening our WORDS will be a life long PRACTICE.

But we can only get BETTER at it, REFLECTING God’s GRACE over our lives, and giving him GLORY. As a RESULT, we will WITNESS the MOVE of God in our lives. We will LIVE to see the GOOD plans he has for us, and we will PROSPER in all we do.

We need to become much more CONSCIOUS of the words we SPEAK daily, for they have our DESTINY and LIFE, HANGING in the BALANCE.

Speaking Life:

There are many ways to SPEAK life. The MOST divine and empowering would be SPEAKING the WORD of God of course,

For the word of God is alive and powerful. It is sharper than the sharpest two-edged sword, cutting between soul and spirit, between joint and marrow. It exposes our innermost thoughts and desires. (Heb. 4:12 NLT)

We can compliment the WORD OF GOD with:

• words of encouragement and edification
• words of HOPE as we walk by FAITH, not by SIGHT
• spirit-filled PRAYER (words of wisdom directly from the Holy Spirit)
• Worshiping/Praising
• singing unto the LORD
• thanking God
• interceding
• blessing another
• complimenting another
• congratulating another
• speaking the TRUTH
• words of forgiveness
• asking for forgiveness
• repenting
• preaching/teaching
• asking (Matt 7:7-8)
• asking in Jesus name (John 14:13)
• prophesying
• speaking in TONGUES
• witnessing/sharing the GOSPEL unashamed
• confessing that Jesus is Lord (with belief in your heart)
• disciplemaking
• telling another that we LOVE them
• speaking those things that be not, as though they were (Rom. 4:17)
• telling the Lord what we’ll do for him in REQUEST of something (Leah, Hezekiah)

The POWER of the TONGUE transcends the WORLD we LIVE in, it PARTAKES in the REALM of the SUPERNATURAL. My PRAYER for TODAY, is that EVERY TIME we OPEN our MOUTHS to SPEAK, the Holy Spirit gives us the WORDS, and we SPEAK them.

I PRAY that he CONVICTS us, and EMPOWERS us, not only because we SPOKE the RIGHT words, but because we OBEYED.

Lastly, I PRAY that for whatever WORDS we SPEAK that promote DEATH & DESTRUCTION, we instantaneously REPENT, and REPLACE them with words of LIFE & LOVE — Amen!

Words kill, words give life;  they’re either poison or fruit—you choose. (Prov. 18:21 MSG)

I’ll start right away by saying that the only one that can deliver us from loneliness is God.

We can alleviate MUCH of the EMPTINESS and ISOLATION by getting ourselves busy: serving in Ministry, working, fellowshipping, and spending time with family and those in NEED.

But sooner or later, there will be EPISODES of loneliness we MUST endure.

But that’s not by CHANCE. GOD uses loneliness– a painful existence for single Christian women — to STRENGTHEN us to rely SOLEY on HIM. BOUTS of loneliness are our training ground, and although they are WRETCHED to FEEL, and HEAVY to BEAR, God says,

Come to me, all of you who are weary and carry heavy burdens, and I will give you rest. (Matt 11:28)

God will take the PRESSURE off, while at the same time using the EXPERIENCE for our good.

He is doing a DIVINE work in us, so our best REMEDY for the PAIN, the SUPERNATURAL thing to do for DELIVERANCE, is to BOAST and REJOICE in this trial, so that the power of Christ rests upon us. (2 Cor. 12:9)

I know it sounds CRAZY — who wants to REJOICE in the MIDDLE of PAIN and AGONY? It’s a CHALLENGE, and it takes a lot of FAITH knowing that God is doing something in the MIDST. But let’s BEAR it for just a MOMENT…and see what God will do…

As I REFLECT on myself RESIDING in the LOWNESS of this VALLEY, I’ve come to understand that God has not forgotten about me, nor is he punishing me and NOT having mercy on me — but he’s EMPOWERING me.

This REVELATION has encouraged me GREATLY, and I KNOW it can for YOU too. The PAIN is still there, but with each reassurance, each reminder of the work that God is doing in me, the STING of loneliness gets weaker and weaker, and lasts less and less…

It is my HOPE that gives me the COURAGE and PATIENCE to SWEAT it out, it also gives God the opportunity to BRING me OUT.  If he DOES it for ME, he SURELY will do it for you too.

In the MIDST of LONELINESS, we can be CONVICTED that the PRESENCE of God is not only with us, and in us, but ROOTING for us.

We can RELISH in the WISDOM of KNOWING that we are in the BEST relationship of our lives. WE can be ENCOURAGED knowing that by LEANING on our SAVIOR, he is doing a SUPERNATURAL thing in us.

We can THANK HIM through the TEARS, and we can thank him when our HEARTS are are CONTENT. We can appreciate this ALONE time, giving God our undivided attention. PLUS, There may be more God has to TELL us in this ALONE time than we THINK…

It’s alright to CRY and FEEL desolate — despite what the WORLD may tell us. For we hear MORE from God when we are in this STATE, we HEAR him CLEARER, and our HEARTS are made STRONGER:

Sorrow is better than laughter, for sadness has a refining influence on us. (Ecc. 7:3 NLT)

Hopelessness and discouragement we may FEEL, but it will NOT last long, I can ASSURE you (Ps. 30:5).  And it certainly does not have the power to OVERTAKE us, unless we LET it. If we can just keep things in SUPERNATURAL perspective, God will see us THROUGH.

When Jesus was in the garden of Gethsemane, FACING the persecution that lied AHEAD, he was at his LOWEST. The most DISCOURAGED we’ve ever SEEN him. He was DREADING what he HAD to do so much, that he WANTED to just DIE right then and there. (Matt 26:38)

BUT in his BROKENESS, God BROUGHT him out of it, he GAVE him a SUPERNATURAL lift that empowered him to DESIRE God’s WILL over HIS. We can LEARN much from our SAVIOR here.

He knows what PAIN is. He knows what DISCOURAGEMENT is. He knows all the INSECURITIES, and FEARS, and ANXIETIES that we go through.

And because he came out of it a REIGNING CONQUEROR, with all ALL POWER and MAJESTY, we can come out of it VICTORIOUS too, STRONGER, and more POWERFUL than ever BEFORE.

We are NOT alone. Longsuffering is Jesus’ LEGACY in this WORLD (Rom. 8:17), a CROSS we HAVE to BEAR. (Luke 14:27) But GLORY awaits on the OTHER SIDE, not only on the other side of the TRIBULATION, but in our NEXT LIFE too. (ROM. 8:18)

If we CAN train our MINDS to FOCUS on him, to be TRANSFORMED while KEEPING ourselves HOLY both in BODY, and in SPIRIT, God’s merciful GRACE will quickly take AWAY the PAIN and SHINE new LIGHT on US.

Isn’t that AMAZING? It’s the TRUTH. For we SERVE a JUST and AMAZING God. He REWARDS those who KNOW that HE IS, that are STILL to hear his VOICE, and that diligently SEEK him.

The ENEMY:

The ENEMY does plays a ROLE in our LONELY MOMENTS. As our MINDS are the BATTLEFIELD, it is HERE where he INJECTS thoughts and MEMORIES of our PAST relationships.

OUR thoughts are INSTIGATORS and FUEL for our EMOTIONS. Through our thoughts, the PAIN intensifies, and BITTERNESS and loneliness RESIDE.

It is TOILING in our EMOTIONS and giving it ATTENTION, where we make HOPELESS and CRITICAL judgments about our past, present, and FUTURE. It is HERE where we can lose the BATTLE, seek our own WILL, and FORGE our DEMISE.

Therefore we NEED God’s SUPERNATURAL intervention to KEEP us on TRACK. Your WILL be DONE Lord and not our OWN.

If we can LASER FOCUS on God but for a MOMENT, he will LIE us down in GREEN PASTURES, he will LEAD us beside the STILL WATERS, and he will RESTORE our SOULS. (PS. 23:2,3)

The TERRAIN of loneliness is DRY, a DESERT without WATER, lifeless, and it bears no FRUIT. But it is a JOURNEY we MUST take. A WILDERNESS experience MEANT to transform us and RENEW our MINDS so that we may PROVE what is that GOOD and ACCEPTABLE, and PERFECT will of God. (Rom. 12:2)

It’s about TIME more SINGLE WOMEN — of all RACES and CULTURES, ECONOMIC STATUS and AGE — DISCOVER their DESTINY in CHRIST. To not make things happen out of our own POWER and MIGHT, but to let things happen by the SPIRIT of the LORD. (Zech. 4:6)

We can RE-WRITE the FAIRYTALE STORY, outdate the CHICK FLICK GENRE, by SHOWING the WOMEN of this WORLD, that we when DELIGHT ourselves in the LORD, he will give us the DESIRES of our HEART. (PS. 37:4)
