3 Steps to Becoming a Born Again Believer

Inter­est­ingly enough, the path to becom­ing a Chris­t­ian is quite sim­ple — yet so life chang­ing and divine!
Also known as being born again, receiv­ing sal­va­tion, being saved, accept­ing Christ, among oth­ers, you can become a Chris­t­ian right here, right now, by fol­low­ing the below first two steps, and then find­ing a min­is­ter for the last step to com­plete the faith process:

Step 1 — Repent & Believe — Know that you are a sin­ner. Repent [feel regret, remorse] of your sins to God, and believe in your heart that Jesus Christ — Son of God — died and was raised from the dead for the for­give­ness of your sins — this makes you right with God. This is a moment of total sur­ren­der. You have no guard up, your heart is open to the Lord, and you receive him with all your being.

Step 2 — Con­fess - Con­fess­ing with your Mouth that Jesus is Lord over your Life gives you salvation. When you speak it with your mouth, you imme­di­ately receive eter­nal life with God and are par­doned from your sins and the eter­nal pun­ish­ment of hell.

Step 3 — Get Water Bap­tized – Being immersed in water is rep­re­sen­ta­tive of your sins being washed away. Old things have passed away and all things have become new 2 Cor. 5:17.Even Jesus him­self was bap­tized before he spread the GOSPEL, as he had not yet ful­filled his pur­pose and was still a man.

Grow in your faith by study­ing the Scrip­tures, the Word of God Rom 10:17, pray­ing, com­muning with other believ­ers, & fol­low­ing the lead­ing & guid­ance of the Holy Spirit in every part of your life. Gal 5:25 Be blessed in your walk with the Lord and in the power of his MIGHT!

Med­i­ta­tive Scriptures:

Repent of your sins and turn to God, for the King­dom of Heaven is near. Matthew 3:2

If you declare with your mouth, “Jesus is Lord,” and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. Rom. 10:9

For it is with your heart that you believe and are jus­ti­fied, and it is with your mouth that you pro­fess your faith and are saved. Rom. 10:10

Who­ever believes and is bap­tized will be saved, but who­ever does not believe will be con­demned. Mark 16:16

I assure you, no one can enter the King­dom of God with­out being born of water and Spirit. John 3:5
